Jeremy and Lisa – Austin, Texas Wedding Photography at Mercury Hall
I was so thrilled to shoot Jeremy and lisa’s wedding because I had never experienced a traditional Jewish ceremony before, and it was just as beautiful and special as I expected. Lisa’s and Jeremy started off the ceremony by signing a Ketubah, which is a traditional marriage contract which the rabbi proudly displayed and read to the congregation. Their ceremony took place under a chuppah and was complete with the groom breaking the glass at the conclusion.
What I found even more amazing and profound was the absolute love and happiness between Jeremy and Lisa. The couple couldn’t keep their eyes off each other the entire night and Lisa’s beautiful smile lit the room whenever they danced or embraced. The room was filled with so much warmth, laughter, and love as Jeremy’s friends and family danced the night away to 50’s music and traditional Jewish songs. This wedding party definitely wins my award for the most active dance floor, as Lisa and her friends swing danced from one end of the room to the other.
I want to say a special thank you to the couple for hiring me as your photographer, for giving me such a warm welcome, and for pulling me out on the dance floor with you at the end of the evening so that I truly feel like I was part of your big family. Thank you and I wish you many years of happiness.
Special thanks to my second shooter Lynnette Davis and Mercury Hall
